Lost Bread Co. is a Philadelphia-based bakery specializing in whole-grain, responsibly sourced bread and pastries. Our goal is to create food with not only higher nutritional value, but more flavor, too. Since 2017, we’ve focused on finding the best ingredients as close to home as possible and, via farmers markets, getting them directly into the hands of customers with minimal processing. The foundation of our breads and pastries is our fresh, stone ground flour, which we mill in-house from organic grain sourced exclusively from mid-Atlantic growers and mills, primarily located in Pennsylvania.
All other ingredients that we are able to source locally, we do, including dairy, honey, oils, and produce. We believe that supporting local agriculture and in turn the local communities that purchase from us is vital.
